Trio D’Amici began at the Colburn School in the Honors Chamber Program in the fall of 2024 and, in its current configuration, is coached by Moni Simeonov and Ivana Malo. “Amici” is Italian for “Friends”, which genuinely demonstrates the power of music to create connection between people, bringing diverse experiences into beautiful harmonies.
The trio has participated in masterclasses with Julio Elizalde, Jonathan Brown, Jean-Yves Thibaudet and Neal Stulberg, and has performed on “Sundays Live at St. James” radio program. The trio often performs in nursing facilities and community outreach to bring the joy of music outside the concert hall.
