The Cascadian Trio is a Seattle-based chamber ensemble formed at the Seattle Chamber Music Society Academy, where its members met and quickly discovered a shared love for making music together. Inspired by the landscapes and energy of the Pacific Northwest, the ensemble’s name reflects a spirit of connection, curiosity, and growth. For the trio, chamber music is about listening deeply, taking risks, and collaboration. The ensemble is mainly coached by Dr. Kevin Krentz and has worked with artists including James Ehnes, Orion Weiss, and the Dover and Balourdet Quartets. The trio recently appeared on Classical KING FM’s Northwest Focus Live.
