The Blair Quartet formed in 2025 when four students from Montgomery Blair High School came together through a shared interest in chamber music. Named after the school they attend, the ensemble studies under the guidance of Claudia Chudacoff and is affiliated with Maryland Classic Youth Orchestras. The quartet focuses on careful listening, balanced ensemble playing, and a thoughtful and musical interpretation. For its members, chamber music is a setting to develop individual and collaborative musicianship, explore new repertoire, and work together towards performances with precision and musicality.
