Classical and alt-classical fill the live music summer sound waves

With several original series, Austin doesn’t lack for classical and alt-classical music during the summer.
Austin Chamber Music Festival

Once again, the Austin Chamber Music Festival keeps it sounding lively. On this summer’s lineup is audacious New York City jazz trio the Bad Plus, the Grammy award-winning Takács Quartet, the celebrated Vienna Piano Trio, Texas’ own Marian Anderson String Quartet and hybrid concert collaborations with Austin Shakespeare theater company and Grammy award-winning choral ensemble Conspirare.
