Jeni Gossard

Director of Education

Jeni Gossard has served as Austin Chamber Music Center’s Director of Education since 2008, a position she holds with great honor and dedication. Prior to accepting this position, she was highly involved as a chamber coach and continues to coach within the McCallum and Lamar Fine Arts Academies. From 2003-2005 Jeni served as faculty clarinet instructor at Texas Lutheran University in Seguin, Texas where she conducted all undergraduate clarinet lessons and led the clarinet choir. Jeni earned her Master of Music from the University of Texas at Austin and Bachelor of Music at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Jeni maintains a private clarinet studio that continually inspires her as an educator. She serves on the Community Advisory Board for The Draylen Mason Fellows Program which is a full-scholarship initiative of Austin Soundwaves designed to honor the legacy of Draylen Mason and help further the musical and personal development of high school musicians. From 2018-2020 Jeni served on the Board of Directors and as Secretary for Austin Emerging Arts Leaders. For the ultimate therapy and happy place, Jeni volunteers with Austin Pets Alive! as a dog walker and advocate for the no kill shelter.
