Eunice Lee
Young Artists Academy Merit Scholarship Student
Eunice Lee began playing the piano at age seven and is currently studying with Shearon Horton. Ms. Lee is a freshman at Cedar Park High School. She has participated and won many competitions and festivals, such as the Texas State Young Artist Piano Competition, Baylor/Waco Piano Competition, ADMTA Solo Contest, New Orleans Piano Institute (2011), Texas State International Piano Festival (2012-2013) where she was awarded full scholarship to attend 3rd and 4th festival, TMTA Performance Contest, Austin Piano Festival, and the Schedler Piano Competition. In 2013, Eunice has also appeared on ‘From the Top’ on NPR with Christopher O’ Riley, has been featured on KMFA’s ‘Kids Recording Kids’ Program and ‘Staccato’, and has been interviewed for a news article by Austin Statesman. Outside of school, she enjoys playing tennis, taking art, debating, and participating in chamber music. In addition, she is an active member of several organizations, such as Girl Scouts, National Art Honor Society, DECA, Student Council, Debate Team, Cedar Park Piano Ambassadors, and the Austin Chamber Music Center. At ACMC, Eunice is currently the pianist in a Merit Scholarship Ensemble.
