Glittering, extravagant, and deliciously excessive music exemplifying “the beautiful age.” Performed by ACMC’s Artist-in-Residence Annie Jacobs-Perkins and her Berlin-based Trio Brontë. Featuring works by Claude Debussy, Maurice Ravel, Igor Stravinsky, and Germaine Tailleferre.

Music composed around the turn of the centuries, inspired by their time and the promise of an inventive future: Ludwig van Beethoven’s Quartet No. 6, Kevin Puts’s Dark Vigil, and Anton Arensky’s Piano Quintet.

A program chronicling stories of individuality, imagination, emotion, and transcendence. Featuring works for violin, cello, and piano by Ludwig van Beethoven (“Archduke” Trio), Robert and Clara Schumann, and Amy Beach’s lush and romantic Piano Trio.
Gothic Ballad

Franz Schubert’s “Death and the Maiden” and George Crumb’s “Black Angels” will set the stage for a shadowy evening of haunting nostalgia and evocative sentimentality.
Friday Intimate Concerts: An up-close-and-personal setting for chamber music, taking place at KMFA (and at a private residence on Sept. 20). Tickets include complimentary drinks and light bites served at a post-concert reception with the artists.
Saturday Synchronism Concerts: Public performances in tandem with the Friday night programs, taking place at the First Unitarian Church.
