Volunteer
The Austin Chamber Music Center has a wide variety of volunteer opportunities available for civic-minded individuals looking to lend a hand, share expertise, or gain practical skills in the following areas:
Concerts and Events
- ticket sales
- ushering at concerts
- reception assistance
Photographer
- take photographs at ACMC events such as concerts, student events, Academy and Workshop classes
- organize and label photos
Recording Engineer
- use ACMC equipment to record student concerts and professional concerts
Library Assistant
- create folders and labels for new music
- enter new works into database
Archival Assistant/Historian
- work with ACMC founders to create a written/photographic history of the Austin Chamber Music Center
- organize and label current photographs
- organize and label photo archives
- create photo albums to chronicle ACMC history
Office Assistant
- provide relief to office staff during busy times
- assist with answering phones, data entry, ticket processing
Research Assistant
- research funding sources, prospective donors, information for press releases and program notes
