Laura Beussman
Laura Beussman recently returned to Austin after graduating with her Master’s of Business Administration at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. While in Madison, Laura worked in Marketing and Development at Madison Opera and completed her Master’s thesis, entitled, “Composing a New Business Model: The St. Paul Chamber Orchestra Redefines Value.” Before moving to Wisconsin, Laura was highly involved in the arts in Austin, working as the Associate Director of Finance at Austin Lyric Opera and as the Business Manager for the St. Idiot Collective. Laura also sang in the chorus at ALO and was the Soprano Section Leader/Soloist at the Lakeway Church. Previously, Laura has worked in Finance/Accounting at the Dallas Theater Center. Laura is also a proud graduate of Texas A&M, where she received her Bachelor’s of Business Administration, Magna Cum Laude and with honors. Laura moved back to Austin in May and married her awesome husband, David, who is the choir director at Anderson High School. She now works in marketing at Dell, managing pricing for the Alienware brand.
