Katie Wolfe

Violinist Katie Wolfe enjoys a career as an active soloist, teacher, recording artist, chamber musician and orchestral leader. She is on the faculty of the University of Iowa and the Assisi Music Festival. She is a founding member of the Matisse Piano Trio and the Wolfe/Nez Duo, a duo that performs and records 20th and 21st century works for violin and piano. Ms. Wolfe has received the Fulbright Lecture Award to teach and perform in Bolivia. She served as concertmaster or assistant concertmaster of the Oklahoma City Philharmonic, the Manhattan Chamber Orchestra, the Jupiter Symphony, and the National Symphony of Bolivia. Ms. Wolfe has recorded for Harmonia Mundi, Centaur Records, Albany Records, Newport Classics, and Kleos Classics, and made her New York Carnegie Hall Debut with Adrienne Kim in 2008.
