Hye Jin Chang
A recent New World Symphony alumni, violinist Hye Jin Chang was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. Upon her graduation from Seoul Arts High School, Ms. Chang moved to Vienna, Austria to study with Gunter Pichler, first violinist with Alban Berg Quartet. She earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, as well as a Master’s degree in Violin Performance. Ms. Chang plays is a first violinist in the Austin Symphony and Austin Opera. She has played with several orchestras, including Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra, Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival and Tour, Spoleto Festival Orchestra, Britt Music Festival, Breckenridge Festival, Pacific Music Festival Orchestra, Lucerne Music Festival Academy, Attargau Orchestra and YouTube Symphony Orchestra Sydney.
