Composer and bandleader Graham Reynolds creates, performs, and records music for film, theater, dance, rock clubs and concert halls with collaborators ranging from film director Richard Linklater to the Rude Mechanicals, DJ Spooky to the Austin Symphony Orchestra. As leader of the jazz-based but far reaching Golden Arm Trio, he’s released 3 critically-acclaimed CDs, performed throughout the United States and in Europe, and is currently recording an album of material by Duke Ellington. As Co-Artistic Director with Peter Stopschinski of the non-profit Golden Hornet Project, Reynolds has produced more than 50 concerts of world-premier genre-bending concert music by more than 40 composers. Other upcoming projects include a choral piece based on a Tennyson poem for Texas Chorale Consort and the score to feature film “Five Time Champion”. Reynolds music has been heard through-out the world on TV, in films and on radio, from HBO to the Cannes Film Festival to the BBC and on NPR’s All Things Considered, Talk of the Nation, and Marketplace. His score to the major motion picture “A Scanner Darkly” was named the #1 Best Soundtrack of the Decade by Cinema Retro magazine. Find out more at grahamreynolds.com
