Registration Information

Tuition for the current term is due on the first day of the program for each semester enrolled. A non-refundable registration fee is due at the time of registration no later than the date specified by Austin Chamber Music Center (ACMC). ACMC issues statements for overdue accounts only. A late fee of $25 will be assessed after the first day of the program, regardless of absence, illness, weather, class cancellation, vacations, etc; and a $25.00 fee for each check returned by the bank.
Payment is required of the entire term in which the student is registered; tuition is non-refundable; and in the event of absence, payment must be mailed to Austin Chamber Music Center, 3814 Medical Parkway, Austin, TX 78756. Advanced notification to Austin Chamber Music Center must be made prior to the first day of classes in order to withdraw the student and cancel this contract. Until such notification is received the account will remain open and tuition payments and late fees will remain the responsibility of the enrollee regardless of absence until such notification is received.
Tuition will not be refunded or prorated for unattended classes; and refunds in the case of prolonged illness or injury must be verified by a physicians certificate and are at the discretion of the director. ACMC reserves the right to cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment; to refuse registration if class has reached capacity; to substitute a qualified instructor in the absence of the regularly scheduled teacher; to photograph and/or video and use in publicity all photos/videos taken; to terminate without refund the enrollment of any student for failing to comply with ACMC policies.
Event Details
During the 2012 Adult Chamber Music Workshop, ACMC will be offering both chamber music coachings as well as the opportunity to play in a chamber orchestra for adults 19 and up.
Chamber Workshop: Musicians are placed in two different chamber ensembles and assigned artist coaches. Activities during the workshop include six coaching sessions with professional musicians, a formal performance at the end of the three weeks, masterclass opportunities with Festival Artists, outreach performance opportunities, plus free tickets to selected Festival Concerts.
Chamber Orchestra: The orchestra runs alongside the Chamber Workshop, allowing musicians the opportunity to participate both in chamber ensembles and orchestra or in just one of the programs. Led by Dr. Rob Radmer, the chamber orchestra tackles exciting repertoire explores various techniques of ensemble playing and expression. Activities include six rehearsals, formal performances, plus free tickets to selected Festival Concerts
