FREE CONCERT!

Why not spend part of Mother’s Day listening to great chamber music by Mozart, Haydn, Tchaikovsky, Borodin, Shostakovich, Smetena & more!! On Sunday, May 5, McCallum Fine Arts Academy will host ACMC’s Spring In-School Collaborative Chamber featuring student chamber ensembles from Fulmore Middle, Lamar Middle and McCallum Fine Arts Academy. You’ll hear a variety of music and ensembles (woodwind quintets, brass quintets, string trios and quartets).

A special thank you to the McCallum Fine Arts Academy for hosting this concert, as well as, the orchestra and band directors at all three schools for their continued support in ACMC’s In-School Chamber Programs.

About ACMC’s In-School Chamber Music Programs:

ACMC provides numerous opportunities for students’ musical growth within the AISD and EISD. Now in residence at six schools within the orchestra and band programs: McCallum Fine Arts Academy, LBJ/LASA & Westlake High Schools, The Khabele School and both Lamar and Fulmore Middle Schools, ACMC reaches over a hundred students teaching them the intricacies of musical communication and expression within small ensembles.
