Austin Cello Choir
Austin Chamber Music Center is pleased to partner with Tony Rogers to present the Austin Cello Choir. The Cello Choir is expanding its vision, intertwining with the community while focusing on cello technique, performance opportunities, and exploring a unique set of repertoire. The spring calendar is filled with outreach events around the Austin area, a master class with Austin’s Karla Hamelin, and many performance opportunities.
Spring Semester Tuition: $200
Who you are
Open to cellists of any age and ability, the Austin Cello Choir will comprise of one ensemble this spring.
Rehearsals will take place Wednesdays at Blackerby Violin Shop from 6:30-8:00pm.
Placement
Placement will be determined from a short audition for new cellists. Mr. Rogers will schedule these after students register.

Scholarships
Full and partial need-based scholarships are available on a limited basis. If interested in a scholarship, cellists may contact Tony Rogers directly.
If interested in donating towards a scholarship fund, please contact us through email or phone. If you are a central Texas professional teacher/performer and would like to play in the choir, please inquire for information.
