2013 SUMMER WORKSHOP ADULT DIVISION:
ONLINE REGISTRATION
During the 2013 Chamber Music Workshop, ACMC will be offering both chamber music coachings as well as the opportunity to play in a chamber orchestra for adult musicians of all levels ages 18 and up. The Adult Division is divided into 2 sections, musicians may sign up for one or both sections:
1) Adult Chamber Workshop
2) Adult Chamber Orchestra

Musicians are placed in TWO different chamber ensembles and assigned artist coaches.

Meets Monday, Tuesday & Thursday evenings 6:00 – 7:50 PM
Rehearsal Dates: July 9, 11, 15, 16, 18 & 23
(right before Chamber Orchestra rehearsal)

Activities & Performance Opportunities
- 6 coaching sessions with professional musicians (all musicians will be placed in 2 different chamber ensembles)
- Masterclass with Festival Artists – Monday, July 22
- Outreach performance – Wednesday, July 24
- Formal performance – Thursday, July 25
- FREE tickets to selected Festival Concerts
Placement Auditions
Audition Dates: Saturday May 25 & June 1
Location: Armstrong Community Music School, 404 Camp Craft Rd.
Placement auditions are for chamber ensemble placements only. Once you register you have secured your place in the Workshop.
Audition Material: Adult musicians will be asked to prepare 2 contrasting solos/etudes of their choice, or portions of these pieces (both approximately 1 minute in length).

Registration deadline: May 22, 2013
Registrations received after May 22 will be subject to a $20 late-registration fee.
Adult Chamber Workshop Fees

| Non-refundable deposit (tuition balance will be due July 1st) | $50 |
Please note that you should either pay the deposit OR full tuition…NOT both when registering! Your tuition balance will be due July 1, 2013 if you just pay the deposit.
No tuition refunds will be given after July 1, 2013 – deposits are non-refundable. Any refunds requested will be subject to a $20 fee.

A chamber orchestra that runs during the summer festival and workshop open to all adult avocational musicians.

Placement Auditions
Skill level and instrument may be taken into account when finalizing personnel and repertoire. Placement auditions will be set up as needed.
