Adult Academy More Info
During the regular season, ACMC has a thriving coaching program for adult musicians who seek to learn and perform chamber music in a variety of configurations. Groups are formed based on skill level and musical interests and placed with professional musicians for regular coaching sessions.
Adult Summer Workshop More Info
The Adult Summer Chamber Music Workshop runs over three consecutive weeks concurrently with the Austin Chamber Music Festival and is held at Brentwood Christian School. Musicians are placed in two different chamber ensembles and assigned artist coaches. Activities during the workshop include six coaching sessions with professional musicians, a formal performance at the end of the three weeks, masterclass opportunities with Festival Artists, outreach performance opportunities, plus free tickets to selected Festival Concerts.
Adult Summer Chamber Orchestra More Info
The Adult Summer Chamber Orchestra runs alongside the Chamber Music Workshop, allowing musicians the opportunity to participate both in chamber ensembles and orchestra or in just one of the programs. Led by Dr. Rob Radmer, the chamber orchestra tackles exciting repertoire explores various techniques of ensemble playing and expression. Activities include six rehearsals, formal performances, plus free tickets to selected Festival Concerts
