Academy for Young Artists
The Austin Chamber Music Academy provides small ensemble opportunities during the fall and spring semesters. Professional musicians coach chamber ensembles and teach theory and composition classes for intermediate and advanced musicians of all ages.
Participants experience the joys of studying and performing chamber music with enthusiastic musicians of comparable proficiency. As an indispensable member of an ensemble, you will make new friends as you improve your sense of rhythm, musical confidence, intonation, and performance skills.
Students may sign up for 1 chamber ensemble & theory (2 hour commitment) or 2 chamber ensembles & theory (3 hour commitment).
